JTK Power Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Janne Virtanen as Group Sales Director on April 1, 2021.

Virtanen joined JTK Power Group in 2013 as Development Manager, JTK Power Suzhou Co., Ltd. Since 2019 he has served as Managing Director of the Group’s operations in China, responsible not only for operations but for production and quality development as well as sales. In his new position, he will oversee sales engagement and project sales across the Group. He reports to the CEO.

“I can't think of anyone better suited for the position,” said Robert Ollus, CEO, JTK Power Group. “Virtanen has an enormous skill set regarding everything we do, he knows every product and site well after having worked in Finland, China and Estonia. He is a team player with strong social skills and is very customer oriented”.

Virtanen has more than 25 years of experience from the mechanical engineering industry with strong expertise in project and manufacturing management, quality assurance and sales. Throughout his career he has served in various roles with global manufacturers in the metal industry. Virtanen holds a BSc in machine automation and has a solid engineering background as well as strong business knowledge, developed and supported through continuous trainings.

Janne Virtanen, Sales Director JTK Power Group

JTK Power Group is pleased to announce that Handy Hu has been appointed Managing Director, JTK Power Suzhou Co., Ltd, on April 1, 2021. Hu is replacing Janne Virtanen, who has been appointed Sales Director of the Group.

Hu joined JTK Power Group in 2012 and has been with the company on its development journey in China since day one. Prior to his promotion, he served as General Manager of the operations in China. He reports to the CEO.

Hu has a strong engineering background and 18 years of experience from working in various manufacturing companies, of which 8 years in the role as Project and Quality Manager. Before joining JTK power Group, he was senior corp. Quality and Management Manager at Hi-P International Co., Ltd. He holds a BSE in Metal Processing from Lanzhou University of Technology.

To his leadership of the operations in China, Hu brings extensive experience of team building and management as well as quality management and cost control.

“In his new role, Hu will be the contact person for a broad network, a role that suits him very well considering his strong background in the industry,” said Robert Ollus, CEO, JTK Power Group. “He has been with us in China since the start and knows the operations and products very well. His solid background in quality is something our customers will benefit from. He is also very competent, hardworking, and motivated and we are confident he will be successful in leading and further developing our operations in China”.

Jenni-Sofia Viitala, Product and Sales Manager of JTK Power’s Shelter Solutions. Viitala started her new job on the 1st of March 2021.
Anders Kannelhovi, Product and Sales Manager, Machining. Kannelhovi started his new job on the 1st of April 2021.
Jukka Kaski, Chief Financial Officer, JTK Power Group. Kaski started his new job on the 24th of May.
