JTK Power Suzhou Co. Ltd. was established in 2012 and operates as a joint venture with the Chinese company Suzhou Suwan Universal Joint Co., Ltd.
The company has a turnover of more than 6M€ and employs around 50 people. JTK Power Suzhou is part of the JTK Power Group, allowing the company to offer comprehensive solutions to its customers.
Manufacturing and products in China
JTK Power Suzhou Co. Ltd. manufactures products such as exhaust gas and charge air silencers for the marine, power plant, and process industries. The company also delivers project-specific solutions requiring advanced welding expertise, such as catalyst frames. JTK Power Suzhou specializes in products that are customized to meet even the most demanding customer requirements.
JTK Power Oy has nearly 30 years of experience in silencer manufacturing, which provides deep understanding of customers’ products and operating environments. This expertise allows JTK Power to support customers in making the right choices for their applications.
Production and factory acceptance testing are carried out in Suzhou, China, in accordance with international standards. Product development, engineering, testing, and measurements are performed in Finland.
Factory and office spaces
At JTK Power Suzhou, both expertise and technology are among the best in the world. The company utilizes state-of-the-art welding technology. In addition, the company has a 26-ton lifting capacity and a lifting height of 10 meters, enabling the handling of very large components. The factory covers 6,500 m². Its employees are certified plate and sheet metal welders. The facility also includes its own painting department, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Energy efficiency and environment
JTK Power’s silencer products promote health and safety by reducing noise pollution. Professionally designed and implemented noise control is essential on ships, in power plants, and in other high-noise environments.
Today, 70% of the electricity demand at the Suzhou factory is covered by solar panels installed in 2024.
