Combined Silencer-Chimney structure

In individual installations with not many engines, combining the silencer and ducting structure is the most cost-effective solution. We always implement a combined silencer and ducting structure according to European or American standards, whichever is applicable.

When designing the structure, we look into the prevailing requirements, wind conditions, potential earthquakes and the standard to be used for the dimensioning. Often, environmental stress is the most important criterion when designing a self-supporting silencer and ducting structure.

We always test the silencer and ducting structure using NDT methods. Normally, the noise attenuation achieved with our silencers is 35 or 45 dB (A).
